Working with the Community

Throughout the year we attend a number of events and shows such as Galas and Fetes where we talk with the public about the work we do here at CATS and how they can help us in our fight for a better life for Fifes cat population.

A key element to this education is teaching children about cats and how to care for them. After all they are the adults of tomorrow. We often attend Scout and Guide group meetings and other community classes where we will bring along a few cats and talk to the children about the Cat Shelter and it proves to be an elightening and fun evening for everyone.

If you would like the Cupar Animal Trust Shelter (CATS) to attend your community class, Gala, Fete or scout/guide group then please and we will be happy to arrange a presentation or display for you.

Alternatively, if you think that you could help us in other ways either through fundraising or collecting old bedding, towels, cat beds, etc then we would be delighted to hear from you.
